Fine orientalist early 20th century bronze of an Arab scribe seated on a chair, with a pencil; by Franz Bergman. Excellent hand finished surface detail. Note the facial expression, colour and contrast. The sculpture is in good original condition. Bergman B amphora and numbered 2726 to the robe. Stamped geschutz, a second B amphora and numbered 46 to the underside of the chair. Measures 10.7cm high, 5.6cm wide and 6cm deep. Weight 718 grams.
