These have no makers mark so I am speculating on their origin and use. They look like an early 20th century German Jugendstil design, they may be a later tribute to the style I think hand planished copper and brass handles. I originally thought these were for holding glass tea glasses but the sides of the cups are not straight up and down, and are in fact more tea cup shape. So now I'm a bit stumped.
