A fine quality Chippendale style 3-seater sofa dating from around 1890 (Late Victorian), upholstered in 100% silk and with six mahogany scroll legs carved with acanthus leaf. Purchased in March 2006 from The Antique Shop in Cumbria (original receipt included), the sofa has been at my grandmothers home ever since but has rarely been used and so is in extremely good condition.
