A gorgeous needlework picture with the scene of a country house and gorgeous garden. Love the thatched roof on the cottage and silver birch in particular. Really nice mix of stitches, love the knot work detail in particular. Not 100% sure on age of this piece - think most likely vintage rather than antique. Measures a little under 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. Condition - lovely colours, no obvious damage to stitching. A little typical discolouration to backing fabric. Has lived in a frame since I have had it but was a poor choice - hence selling it unframed.
