It has a small applied point to the end of the stem handle for clearing out clogged teapot strainers. Lion passant mark to the handle and maker's initials for Jeremiah Lee, c.1728-1732. The initials RA are also engraved to the bottom of the heel, which was likely the original owner's initials although rather crudely executed.
