A rare and beautiful cast bronze bust of christ sculpted by Ferdinand parpan renowned French sculpture 1902 - 2004. Mounted on black marble base and signed by F parpan on the rear. I have spoken with the parpan family to try and ascertain a date for this bust, as they tell me this is one of his early works from the 1940s when he started to play with bronze.
