A very nice solid hob nail cut glass Edwardian period Silver Plated Biscuit Barrel ,the lid showing a plaque with BISCUITS ,atop a coiled rope , the body with quality cut glass detail some age fritting on raised edges for its 116 plus years , with a nice rope detail handle ,14 cm high to rim x 11 cm at base , weight 1187 gr , signs of wear to the plate ,the body fine with quality cutting and no cracks, will clean better with care ,sold as shown.I am having a clear out in the house.
