This is a very nice Edwardian oak collectors chest. It was originally a canteen chest but is an ideal collectors chest. With 2 inset brass carrying handles, the rounded rectangular top with an inlaid vacant brass cartouche, 2 panelled doors below enclosing 4 graduated drawers, on a rounded plinth base, H.31 x W.51 x D.40cm overall. It’s in lovely condition, comes with locking key. Pretty heavy item.
