Very cool early wood stool with some original paint. The top has an interesting saddle form. It has fancy legs for a primitive stool. The top has honest wear but the sides and bottom show original green paint. The legs are a bit loose. It’s seen so much use over the years that they are poking through the top of the seat in three corners. The bottom side shows some blacksmith made nails. It’s possible it stretches back into the 18th century, if not I’d think it’s pretty early 19th century. Fresh out of a Massachusetts estate. Approximately 14” long, 10” wide, 8.5” high. Ships ASAP!
