An elegant medium sized oval mirror with bevelled edge and ornate crested mount. The metal frame has a silver tone which looks like it originally had a gilt finish which is mostly worn and adds to its aged anesthetic. Most likely from the early part of the early 20th century, it has echoes of the transition from organic decorative style into art deco and lends it to different interior decor. Condition: Surface wear to the frame. Some wear to backing and the backing has a tear but securely framed. Has the metal fixings but no chain. Please see photos for details of condition.
