A fine and increasingly scarce early 18th-century English provincial oak bureau, dating to the Queen Anne / early George I period, circa 1710–1725. Below the writing slope are two short over two long graduated drawers, fitted with attractive early brass swan-neck handles and matching pierced escutcheons.
