Small antique copper jug with brass handle. The jug is five and a half inches high and four inches wide at the base. It measures 4 inches at the base narrowing to two and a half inches at the top. The brass handle is fixed with brass rivets and has a small flick /thumb rest for stable pouring. The handle is covered in a wicker / raffia type braiding. The lid is hinged and lined. It has a lovely pattina with some copper markings on the front. On the base is a makers mark in the shape of an anchor and snakes with the initials L and C. There is a number five printed at the base of the mark. The jug appears to be lined with tin on the inside which is intact with no green spots.
