My Grand Parents acquired this in Hong Kong where they got married in the 1940s. My Grandad was in the Merchant Navy and stationed there for a period of time. Its original use was as a blanket/linen trunk as the camphor wood smell was desirable back then and maybe still now. Carving and craftsmanship is incredible. Great condition for age but inspect photos carefully as they form description. Cash on collection from Leigh on Sea, Essex preferred. Any questions please ask
