A late 19th century Italian giltwood wall bracket, with a shaped top with moulded edge and fluted underside, over a richly carved scrolling rococo style foliate bracket. Italian, circa 1890. I think the top may have been repainted as it has quite a bit of wear but as you have it above eye level you don’t see it.
