Genealogical records show that Catherine (Strubhar) Wolf, born c.1792, married John Wolf and had her first child around 1810. Around 1809–1810, John married Catherine Strubhar (born c.1792), herself descended from one of the long-established Strubhar families of German-Swiss origin.
