De profundis clamavi ad te, Domine. An original illuminated vellum leaf from aFrench Book of Hours, produced circa1450. Written in an elegant Gothic textualis script on fine vellum, the manuscript features alternating illuminated initials in burnished gold on blue and rose grounds with red rubrication throughout.
