The multi-flame object rests on a wide round base with a balustered middle shaft and a striking, openwork gallery in the lower area. Four symmetrically curved arms carry flat drip plates with cylindrical candle nozzles. The ensemble is crowned by a sculptural heraldic lion figure that holds the Amsterdam city coat of arms with three St. Andrew's crosses. The collector's item is in a used condition commensurate with its age with visible material cracks on the lion figure, an authentic patina and older wax residues in the nozzles (see photos).
