Rare Dutch Tatting needle holder. 6" long. Has hallmarks but hard to see. My research however flawed says very possibly 18-19th century. It's hard to say because the makers mark (I can see/read RI) and assay marks are so old. It's well loved and it was used. I tested it and it test sterling but I do not believe as high as 925. More likely than not 900 Sterling from my research. See pictures. Very beautiful piece. Thank you
