Wonderful and substantial 1960/70s rattan and cane armchair with later painted faux bamboo finish. This is a very rare chair - the knot arms are just a delightful wonder! I cannot find anything similar at all. It’s a statement piece that would sit well in all considered interiors - Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency to Classic Country House, it’s has a timeless presence. New feather wrap squab cushion in a superb jacquard weave cover. The seat is generous and very comfortable. The whole thing has a real high end edge, & is in excellent vintage condition.
