This lovely antique music stool has been slightly altered in the past. Originally I believe it was designed as a cellist stool and would have been taller. The legs have been cut to reduce the height, possibly to use as a piano or workbench stool. It has the original green baize, which is marked and slightly frayed, that adds a certain charm. The wooden handle at the back may also be a replacement and has some damage. There are elegant curved brass edges on each side of the stool. Hopefully the pictures show all of the above. Could be used as a small stool or plant stand.
