An unusual antique bijouterie heart shaped table or chevet in the Louis XV style with ormolu mounts. Nicely lined inside, the key and lock function perfectly. The table stands 76cm high ; the widest point on the top is 37.5cm, the widest point, the bow on the legs is 46cm wide. Lovely aged patina from use as expected. Ormolu mounts on rack edge of the bow legs and on the feet. Most likely early 1900's. The pictures don't do it justice as taken in natural light, no spotlights.
