Here for sale is a beautiful sterling silver vesta case belonging to F. D. Long, a well-known silversmith operating out of Birmingham in the late 19th century and early 20th century. Long was particularly highly regarded for manufacturing richly decorated silver vesta cases, cigarette cases, and small pocket accessories. The case is in excellent condition - the clasp remains strong and in good working order, and there are no bumps or imperfections on the case itself. Overall a lovely piece!
