Beautiful woven tapestry depicting St Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco), Venice, viewed from the lagoon with gondolas in the foreground. The scene includes iconic Venetian landmarks such as St Mark’s Campanile and the Doge’s Palace, making it a classic and recognisable Venetian view. I personally purchased this whilst in Venice, giving it a lovely authentic story and character. The tapestry is made in Italy (label shown) and features a rich woven finish (not printed), with an ornate floral border in warm, earthy tones. It also comes complete with the decorative gold coloured hanging pole, so it’s ready to display straight away. Measures 79cm wide x 59cm long. A beautiful statement piece in excellent condition.
