A lovely high back chair. We date this chair to the late 20th century. The chair sits on square section legs and the tall backrest frame has attractive abaca and rattan woven back and side panels, inspired by the tall and romantic screens found in traditional oriental houses. The chair has a large seat cushion that is upholstered in a cream fabric. The chair has an overall height of 48" (122cm), an overall width of 29.5" (75cm), an overall depth of 28" (71cm), a backrest height of 34" (87cm), a seat height of 13" (33cm), a seat width of 26" (66cm) and a seat depth of 28" (71cm). The chair is in very good condition with only very minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage, including some slight mellowing to the frame and some minor marks on the fabric from past use.
