A lovely carved oak livery cupboard. We date this cupboard to the 18th century. The cupboard sits on four upward tapered turned legs with stretchers at the base. The cupboard has two side pinned doors fitted with locks (key is supplied), the right hand door has pierced carvings and the left hand door has applied mouldings. There is a carved panel in the centre. The cupboard has a height of 45.5" (115cm), a width of 51.5” (131cm) and a depth of 17.5 (45cm). This lovely cupboard remains in a good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some marks to the top surface as can be seen in the pictures and one door appears to have been exchanged at some early time in its life. This remains a very stylish and elegant livery cupboard.
