A good original planished and riveted copper arts & crafts lidded jug/ewer made by William Soutter & Sons of Birmingham and standing 24cm high with a base diameter of 19cm. Nicely planished with a vertical riveted jointed and nice folded thumb lever to the lid. Has been polished at some point but is now beginning to form a mellow patination. Tarnish, surface marks and scratches and handle slightly misshapen. Tarnish to the original tinned interior with remnants of old polish in places. No splits or holes.
