This elegant, antique c. 1910-1920, pewter coffee/tea serving set is hand beaten English Pewter. The coffee pot has an ebonized composite handle with a thumb piece, hinged lid, and composite finial... The sugar bowl has twin handles. All pieces re stamped on the base, “ELL- L-Ware-English Pewter” The finish on the pewter is of a high quality lustre almost like silver, possibly because the maker was a silver smith. Attributed to W. Ellerby of London who was a silver craftsman at the time. All pieces are clean and in good condition with normal issues of this age. All measurements are approximate: Coffee/Tea Pot: height-8”; from handle to spout 7”. Sugar Bowl: height-4”; diameter-3 ½”; from handle to handle-5 ½ ” across. Creamer: height-3”; from handle to handle-5 ” across.
