Art Nouveau bowl made of hammered brass with enamel decoration, probably in Vienna (Wiener Werkstätte or radius) in the early 20th century. Century made. The artistic, triangularly curved bowl ends in three elegantly raised corners and impresses with its characteristic, finely structured Martelé surface (hammered decor). In the center of the mirror there is a geometric, concentrically arranged ornament using the cell enamel technique (Champlevé/pit enamel), which harmoniously adapts to the basic triangular shape of the object. The bowl is in an authentic, age-appropriate original condition with a warm, untouched brass patina, slight signs of age and oxidation as well as a charming craquelure in the white enamel, which underlines the historical character of this Viennese Art Nouveau objec.
