Here we have a lovely art nouveau bronze entitled “Carmela”, after Emmanuel Villanis. The figure depicts a shy girl, looking down and to the side of the viewer. The name Carmela appears beneath the girl and E Villanis on the underside of the bust. There is also a worn foundry mark, which looks as if it could be the mark of the Société des Bronzes de Paris” The bronze is in excellent condition, though the base has a few marks. Please see the photos. This bronze would be carefully packed and sent by Royal Mail, tracked and insured.
