Presented in showroom condition a stunning 1930s walnut veneered chest of drawers. Comprises 5 graduated drawers each veneered in book paged American walnut, the drawers all run smoothly and all constructed with dove tailed jointing. The handles are original solid brass foliate design, these have been removed and all cleaned and buffed, checked and refitted. The whole stands on a figured walnut plinth which supports the base of this chest which is of “U” shaped design. The upper section has carved foliate detailing to the shoulders and above this is a slim top drawer. Finally the top is the most amazing bookpaged figured walnut veneer.
