An imperfect but full-of-character 1930s ish mirror. It’s an irregular octagon shape and extremely heavy - with a bevelled edge, a wooden mount and part of an old Quaker Oats box as the backing! I like the typography on the old box so I haven’t changed it out. It also has the original hanging chain and mirror clips which are rusty but robust. The glass shows many signs of its age including foxing, discolouration and surface misting, which I have tried to picture. Despite its wear though, it’s a lovely thing - a mirror for true vintage lovers! 53cm x 33cm 3.6kg
