Antique Victorian beadwork and needlework banner, which has been beautifully hand sewn with thousands of tiny monochrome coloured glass beads and needlework, with roses and floral design, with a turquoise needlework ground. AGE Mid Victorian, circa 1860 SIZE The actual embroidered panel (not including linen border) measures 39cm (15½") wide, 51cm (20) high. CONDITION The panel is in a very good condition for age, although it is still on original linen backing and has not been mounted, and this linen is a little discoloured in places. There are several areas of loss/ balding to the turquoise embroidery. Please refer to the above photographs for details of condition.
