Antique Japanese NORITAKE Lemon Plate Candle Holder This very pretty piece dates to pre-WWI, circa 1908-1914, and the backstamp an extremely early one, it’s also the first to use the brand name Noritake. The founder of the company, Ichizaemon Morimura, registered this mark in London in 1908, allegedly as an export mark for Great Britain only. Measuring approximately 14.5cm in diameter. Unfortunately the candle holder has a hairline crack on the front/back running down from the handle as shown in the photos. Otherwise in excellent antique condition.
