This example is a silver plated toddy ladle. It has a twisted handle with a silver plated ferrule at the top. The toddy has a simple undecorated bowl with a gently folded lip to aid pouring. The silver bowl of the ladle does have very minor age related wear and the bowl moves a little where it joins to the twisted handle.
