An antique Victorian revolving piano stool, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Designed with a height-adjustable seat that rotates on a central threaded riser, allowing a musician to find the perfect playing height. It features a decorative turned and fluted wooden base. I believe it is Oak, but it may be unpolished Walnut. It is sturdy and works well, with possibly the original (not particularly attractive) upholstery, velvet and tapestry fabric. 46cm tall at its lowest setting, it rises to about 60cm.
