Flat hinged lid with an integrated thumbpiece and a notched cutout on the rim designed to hold a small serving spoon. It retains its original, removable octagonal cobalt blue glass liner which has slight cracks to Material: Unmarked pewter or base metal alloy (uncleaned, showing a deep dark historical patina). Condition: No markings or hallmarks are present. The metal displays heavy age-appropriate tarnish, darkening, and wear highlighting underlying golden-brown undertones.
