A beautiful and characterful Victorian mahogany pie-crust tripod wine table, dating to approximately 1880–1910. This elegant occasional table features a scalloped pie-crust edge top, a finely turned pedestal column with a decorative gadrooned ball, and three shapely cabriole legs with pad feet. Construction details confirm its age and quality, legs are attached via a solid trefoil wooden block with period flat-head screws, and the top is fixed to the pedestal via a turned wooden tenon. The dark mahogany has developed a rich, deep patina consistent with genuine age. No maker’s marks present. Sold as found, in good antique condition with age-appropriate wear.
