Crafted from metal, it features its original painted finish, often referred to as "burnt umber" or toffee-colored, with a blue painted interior. The oval-shaped box includes a hinged lid, a carrying handle, and a hasp for a lockable clasp. The finish has a lovely original patina including some original labels enhancing the overall antique appeal of this item.
