DESCRIPTION: A gorgeous antique Victorian shell cameo brooch, depicting a lady with a bird in hand, maybe the goddess Aphrodite? The cameo is beautifully hand carved with nice detail. The item weighs approx. 3.83g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. As to be expected with age and use, the rolled gold finish has mostly worn, showing the gold tone base metal underneath, see pictures/video.
