This is a Victorian “aide memoire” pocket day planner with an ivory cover, silver hinge, latch and decorative escutcheon and 6 inner sheets inside which fan out and are labeled Monday thru Saturday . The all caps font is delicate and charming with the accent color still clearly visible. The owner would use a pencil to record their daily activities, then simply rub it off to start the next week. It is in excellent shape with no cracks, a fully functional clasp and little sign of wear at all. This is a charming and highly collectible memento of a bygone era before iCal. You simply can not hold it in your hand without imagining the engagements of its original owner. Perhaps a tea? A dance? A suitors visit?
