An antique twin-handled copper cooking pot. It is made of hand-formed solid copper with a noticeable aged patina (some verdigris), probably late 19th or early 20th-century. The pot has prominent brazed vertical join lines running down the front and back. It is fitted with heavy, cast brass handles secured tightly to the copper body with sturdy rivets. The top edge features a reinforced rolled rim (or bead), which historically added structural strength to prevent the pot from warping under heavy loads or high heat. In good antique condition, with expected signs of age and use. It is 26.5cm x 21.5cm wide ( excluding handles) and 10cm tall. Please check out my other listings, new items added regularly.
