This is a superb antique solid sterling silver Continental tea caddy spoon dating from 1892. The decorative handle depicts a curling serpent. The rear of the shaft is stamped with a continental hallmark, and the interior is stamped with a London hallmark date letter ‘F’ for 1892 together with the sponsor’s initials ‘SBL’ for Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck.
