With internal casting marks & a turned wooden handle, most likely dates this iron from the mid-to-late Victorian era (approx. 1870–1895). Likely made by a major British manufacturer like Salter, Crane, or Kenrick although there is no maker's mark it is stamped '5' in various places and the inside of the main casting also includes the number '5'.
