Antique Small Tortoiseshell Pocket Compass Pendant – Victorian / Edwardian A charming small antique pocket compass or fob pendant, housed within an attractive tortoiseshell-patterned circular case with striking reddish-orange and dark mottled decoration. The miniature compass is mounted centrally and retains its aged original dial, while the suspension loop at the top allows the piece to be worn or attached to a watch chain or chatelaine. The piece shows considerable age-related wear, particularly to the compass dial and glass, as clearly shown in the photographs. Functionality is untested. An unusual and highly decorative antique miniature compass with plenty of period character.
