This is an EARLY ANTIQUE MARINE TELESCOPE. Early 19th Century. The telescope measures approx 30 1/2 inches (775mm) long extended, and 23 1/2 inches (60mm) when folded up. It is in good, antique condition, with no major damage or repairs. It has a cylindrical wooden barrel, and a single draw tube. (Old drying out spit in the timber, (see photos), this is solid with no movement) The draw tube focuses easily, to give a good clear image, the correct way up. The object lens measures approx 1 1/2 inches (40mm) in diameter. There are no chips or cracks. There is a sliding dust cover on the eyepiece. Please see the photos for condition and type.
