An antique chatelaine spectacle case with engraved decoration and inscription 'J.Jones Llwyncrwn Trawsfynydd'. Llwyncrwn is probably the hill farm in Trawsfynydd near Eryri national park. The case has nice engraved decoration on one side and is plain on the other, attached to an engraved belt hook. The case is marked EPNS, the hook is unmarked, quite alot of wear to the silver plate on the case and chain. The velvet lining is still there and has shrunk away from the sides. Size of case 7 inches long, including chain and hook 9 inches long.
