This is a lovely silver plated ewer or jug, made by Sturges, Bladon & Middleton marked S.B & M, founded in 1884 in Birmingham. It measures 24cms from the base to the top of the finial and a diameter of 10.5 CMS, it holds 1½ pints of liquid and does not leak. There has been some loss of the plating but it is an unusual design and it is probably made around 1900.
