Antique Regency Period Ormolu Egyptian Revival Ink Stand Circa; early 1800’s Ormolu finished writing utensils presented on a marble base. Features a lidded inkwell to the right, (damaged glass liner). Removable pounce pot on the left with screw down lid. Centre features a kneeling Egyptian figure with a candle holder on top of head. Figure is holding a shallow lidded container, (possibly for sealing wax). Overall height; 16.5 cm Base; 18 cm x 10 cm Ormolu is rubbed, as shown. However, this is a great example in good overall condition, as shown.
