Tea pot maker's mark for Philip Ashberry & Sons of Sheffield, a company established in 1829.The mark includes the "Britannia" brand name and a figure brandishing a spear.The firm began by making spoons before expanding into electro-plating.The company became a private limited company in 1899 Tea pot has lots of signs of wear but is a beautiful decorative design standing approx 8 inches tall
