A beautifully hand carved small antique 19th century spinning chair. With ornate floral and foliate scrolls and green man carved to the seat and back rest. The seat has a gently scalloped edge on four turned barley twist legs. Lovely rich patina to the wood. Condition: There are some more recent screws on the under side and back so it looks like it has had a bit of restoration at some point. A few splits at base of back rest which have been repaired and are stable. What looks to be some historic wood worm holes which have been treated for reassurance.
